Henry & BROS., has made it a mission to produce only durable, top-of-the-line blankets for families with an unwavering commitment to quality and sustainability.
The sustainable Softie blanket was specially woven using Tencel fibers from Lenzing. Tencel is made from tree-pulp in the most sustainable fiber production process (LCA), a closed-loop production process. Wood-pulp is converted into fiber within a circular water-solvent system to minimize significantly reduce the harmful chemical effluents associated with other fabric production processes. The environmental savings within the trademarked Lenzing closed loop production process using regenerated cellulose fibers to reduce water and solvents is a more sustainable manufacturing process which we manage and control in our supply chain. Combined with ecologically grown ultra-fine 50's double layer cloth BCI cotton, this blanket is 4 layers of extreme softness. Our fabrics are made using a specialized double-layer-cloth technique and yarn-dying for outstanding color and quality.
